Discounted Therapy

Discounted Therapy

Mend offers discounted therapy through our counseling intern program. Our intern program consists of master’s level students who are studying and training to become licensed clinicians. By the time an intern begins at Mend they have already completed 18-24 months of education in the field of counseling.

At Mend, we prioritize your mental health journey by offering affordable therapy through our counseling in training program. These master level students are on the path to becoming licensed clinicians and present you with an opportunity for high-quality care at reduced rates. They are well-prepared to address a wide array of mental health concerns, from depression and anxiety to addiction and behavioral issues. Additionally, they specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate complex relationship dynamics.

Counselor in Training Program

Interns at Mend are closely supervised by our clinical director as well as a Faculty supervisor at their respective school. Supervision consists of reviewing progress, suggestions on counseling interventions and developing the counselor’s identity as a professional. Our interns are equipped to work with a variety of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, addictions, and behavioral problems. Additionally, our interns can work with individuals, couples and families in order to address a variety of relational problems.

The internship program at Mend plays a big role in our vision for serving the community. We believe that mental health services should be easily accessible. For some, discounted therapy is the only way they can get the help they need. Our internship program allows for us to provide quality clinical services while also investing in the education and training of future licensed clinicians.
