  • Low academic performance

  • Self-management (e.g. problems in executive functioning)

Don’t wait before the problems pile up, there is help available.

A direct approach

Mend offers a direct approach to teen counseling that incorporates working with the teenager individually and collaborating with parents. Our counselors will offer a disarming environment where your teenager can open up and freely express themselves in a safe, confidential manner.

Often times, the simple act of validation and normalization can go a long way in helping a teenager feel more at ease. Our teen counseling therapists love teenagers and are passionate about helping them get back on track and equipping them with tools for a healthy self-regard and positive relationships with others.

Our sessions

A plan of action is clearly articulated within the first several teen counseling sessions with a goal of seeing behavioral and emotional change within three to six months of starting counseling. A regularly scheduled consultation with parents is arranged to keep you informed on the progress being made.
